LET’S TALK SAFETY.
When you do a shoot with Have a Nice Day Productions, I want you to be able to have a good time and be your best, most comfortable self without ever, ever, EVER having to worry about if you're safe.
There have been (and unfortunately, will continue to be) too many examples of people whom act inappropriately whilst behind the camera. Weird comments, unnecessary touching, insisting on private sessions or not having others in the room, things like that. Let me definitively state this: Fuck that shit.
Safety before, during, and after a shoot is my absolute number one priority, and that will ALWAYS be the case.
Being someone who works in niches that often involve varying degrees of nudity, and physical performances and self-expression - industries that so many within them view as safe spaces for them to express themselves with their bodies however they like, is something I'm endlessly grateful for, and I take the responsibility of upholding that safe space very seriously.
To help solidify this, I ensure that all of my safety policies are put down in writing on both my website and stated within in my contracts, so that the standards for client safety and consent across all my shoots is universal.
The following standards apply before, during, and after working with me:
First and foremost, you retain the right to say “no” to anything at any time. You are in the driver’s seat during your shoot. If I give a suggestion or direction you don’t like or feel comfortable with, that is perfectly okay. The choice of what you do or don’t want to do on camera is always yours.
I will never make explicit or sexually suggestive comments towards you, or about you, your attire, or your body.
I will never touch you in any way without permission to do so.
I will never insist that a shoot needs to be “private” or closed off to other people. Bring as many people with you as you like. The more the merrier!
I will never push or break your personal boundaries. Tell me what they are, and they'll be upheld at all times
I will always be transparent and honest about everything to do with the nature of your shoot and the process of working with me. Feel free to ask any questions you have!
I will never post content containing your image publicly without your written permission first.. If you want what we shoot to just be for you, or to only be put out into the world at your own discretion, that’s your call.
I will always ensure any additional people present during your shoot maintain the same standards as detailed here, and will remove anybody who does not uphold these standards at all times.
These things should genuinely be the bare minimum and it kinda sucks that other people behind the lens are ruining it for the rest of us who just want to make some cool shit, but at least you can rest assured that working with me won't ever come at the cost of your safety or comfort.
